Want to get out in nature? Big Blue is near the Nantahala Outdoor Center, boat rentals on Fontana Lake, the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad which hosts the Polar Express, The Great Smoky Mountain National Park, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

Neighborhood overview
Relax to the sound of the creek bubbling by. The cabin is also less than a minute to the Alarka Marina on Fontana Lake where boat rentals are offered seasonally.
Getting around
Parking at the main cabin can accommodate four vehicles. There is additional parking if needed along the main street before turning into the drive. We recommend this for anyone bringing a trailer or watersport vehicle as making the turn around up the main drive could be difficult with a trailer.
